I have added the following to my lilo.conf file:
append="acpi=off apm=off"
I have recompiled lilo and reooted my machine.
I still get the following if I perform a mmi-tool -w command and
try a simple ftp transfer:
13:18:22 eth0: negotiated 100baseTx-FD flow-control, link ok
13:19:17 eth0: no link
13:19:18 eth0: negotiated 100baseTx-FD flow-control, link ok
13:19:39 eth0: no link
13:19:42 eth0: negotiated 100baseTx-FD flow-control, link ok
13:19:45 eth0: no link
13:19:48 eth0: negotiated 100baseTx-FD flow-control, link ok
13:23:33 eth0: no link
13:23:35 eth0: negotiated 100baseTx-FD flow-control, link ok
13:23:36 eth0: no link
It remains very slow and connections still drop. My nfs mounts are even
being affected.
