[Beowulf] Ethernet switch OSes

Hi Greg, all,

I haven't done this in a few years but when I last bought generic Quanta
40G "whitebox" switches, they had a "free" base OS that you could use; I
think it was typically limited in features but it was fine for me as I just
wanted dumb L2 switches anyway.  What does your vendor suggest?
