I'm not familiar with this series, but if the switched is managed (you can
access it through a serial link/SLIP, telnet or www through normal
network), you should be able to do it. In this case, read the manuals.
Although it's not recommended, you might also force the router port to
100-FD, but then you have to force the card to 100-FD as well.

So this is preaty clear. What I don't understand is why you still get the
errors if the autonegotiation succeded.
