Hello,

I need some explaination about a Kernel Panic occured with the 3COM
Etherlink PCI driver for
Linux , release 3c59x.c : v0.99L and this architecture :
    Linux Kernel 2.2.12-20 ( RedHat )
    SMP ( 2 processors )
    VIA as protocol

When I use a debug ( vortex_debug < 6 ) less than 6, I have a Kernel
Panic :

kmem-free : Bad obj addr ( obj= c03c9380 , name = size-256 )
Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer reference at virtual address
00000000
.......
Oops: 0002
CPU: 1
EIP: 0010 : [<c01245cb>]
EFLAGS: 000120202

But when this variable is egal to 6 all is fine.
I detect the problem comes from the module function : boomerang_rx,
it's meen that the call printk is making it functionnaly.

Can someone help me .
Thank's a lot.

Régine.
