3c900 in Full Duplex Mode

I have can't get my 3c900 ethernet card to run in full duplex mode.
I am running kernel 2.2.14 and I have the driver compiled as a module.
I have tried setting options=0x200 and full_duplex=1 when I load the
driver.  Neither of these get the card into full duplex mode.  The card
is connected to a 10/100 switch with 10baseT.  Any ideas?
