interface byte counters

hi.

are the interface byte counters working properly in 3c59x.c ? i
recently upgraded to linux 2.2 on the grounds that i was fed up with
having to live with snmp's approximation that bytes = packets * 308,
but my mrtg graphs are still looking wrong.

my router's graph is currently showing me doing an ftp and is saying
256kbps inbound traffic. i should also see 256kbps going through the
machine that sits between me and the router (linux-2.2 and 3c59x.c
0.99L), but it's only registering 20.4kbps for some reason.

a quick check with snmpwalk | grep -i ifinoctet and cat /proc/net/dev
shows that snmp really is reporting the right thing from /proc/net/dev
and not falling back to bytes = packets * 308.

hope someone can help,

-al.
