I added a sleep 120 command to /etc/rc.d/init.d/network and rebooted
with the machine cabled to the 10/100 mbps switch.  This change made
absolutely no difference, the system cannot see the LAN.  When I
recable to the 10 mbps hub, the system sees the LAN fine.
