Hello,

As an update, with many thanks to Brian Winters and Shon Martin for
their helpful responses, my freezing problems appear to have been
fixed after updating to the 3c59x.c:v0.99L 5/28/99 driver.

However, based on an initial look, it appears that the overall
data transfer rate from the machine seems to have dropped quite a
bit. I am not completely sure of this, but iptrafx shows me lower
transfer rates (it appeared to have peaked at about 4Mbits/sec as
opposed to the 9.5Mbits/sec rate I saw earlier) for the same scenario.

Any thoughts on the possible slower data transfer?

Best Regards,

Alok.
