I suspect my problems are the same. I had an Interrupt related message in
the log file also, when running SMP, three crashes in 2 days. I turned off
SMP, and now the same 3COM 905b Cyclone card has been running for 2 weeks.
I'd like to use the second CPU!

I'll still get from time to time, TX timeout errors and lockup on my other
single CPU system running a vortext board. It sometimes corrects and
proceeds and sometimes not.

Now I'm planning an expensive trip to my colocation site to yank the 3COM
cards and put in LinkSys NE2000 cards in both machines :-(

I hear the Ne2000 driver is rock solid, where as the 3COM is not.

Sincerely, Keith Rowland
