Trouble with ethernet driver

I have some trouble with the ethernet driver on your page.  I dowloaded the
precompiled binary and got a message that it was compiled for a different
kernel version (I have the latest one).  Then I downloaded and tried to
compile the source and got a mile long list of errors.  Most of them had
something to do with a pointer or something.  Could you offer any
assistance.  Thanks
