More information is available at https://easybuild.io/tech-talks/008_avx10.html . If you would like to attend the Zoom session, please register via: https://event.ugent.be/registration/ebtechtalk008avx10 The Tech Talks are not the usual sales-pit talks from vendors, they are literally technical focused and often very informativ I found. The previous ones can be found here: https://easybuild.io/tech-talks Please spread out the word. All the best from a very mild London! Message-ID: All: Back in July, I stepped into the Managing Editor role at HPCwire. I'm covering for a staff sabbatical, and I will be in place through December, including attending SC23. A few things: 1. As ME, I am interested in what types of topics you would like to see covered on HPCwire (even if you don't read it) 2. Also, if you have something you think is particularly interesting at SC23 (yours or someone else's), let me know. As you can imagine, HPCwire sits (or stands or gets knocked down) directly in the HPC information fire-hose. I'm interested in HPC efforts, projects, and ideas that may not make it into the fire hose stream or may get missed. I hope to see you at SC23 (I will be wearing a blazer sometimes!). Not on Monday night at the Bash, though. I believe there is some T-shirt or wardrobe planned. -- Doug From pbisbal at pppl.gov Tue Oct 31 19:22:48 2023 From: pbisbal at pppl.gov (Prentice Bisbal) Date: Tue, 31 Oct 2023 15:22:48 -0400 Subject: [Beowulf] [External] And wearing another hat ... E.g. do they have a CI/CD build process or is it a manual process to install and configure applications? If the former what do they use? E,g, Puppet or Ansible? Context ? was talking with someone that wanted to align their local cluster applications with Biowulf, as well as be able to have the same set using ParallelCluster for burst when they need it.
