I forgot to attach our ATD! ;-)

The reason it worries about high load is that we
used to see processes hang trying to read from the
IPMI device, but haven't seen that with more recent
kernels..

cheers,
Chris

#!/bin/sh

[ -e /dev/ipmi0 ] || exit 0

load=$(cat /proc/loadavg | awk '{print $3}' | awk -F. '{print $1}')

if [ $load -gt 16 ]
then
        exit 0
fi

TEMPS=$(/usr/bin/ipmitool sensor | grep Temp | awk '{print $1 ":" $4 }')
for i in $TEMPS; do
        type=`echo $i | awk -F: '{print $1}'`
        temp=`echo $i | awk -F: '{print $2}'`
        gmetric -n "$type Temp" -v "$temp" -t float -u Celcius
done
