[Beowulf] 32 1.3 GHz Itanium 2's on Ebay for $305

Hmm, 2 things:

1) The 3MB L2 cache itanic is much slower than the 6MB L2 version if
you look at the SPEC results. The working set of many of the SPEC
benchmarks can be cached in the 6MB L2, and not the 3MB version. But
if your working set is larger than 6MB or 9MB, then get an AMD
Opteron!!

2) Nevertheless, the price is cheap... but the itanic motherboard is
much more expensive :(
