we have been aquiring machines based on the serverworks gc-le chipset for 
use as servers. specifically the supermicro p4dl6 and p4dlr. they have so 
far been well-behaved. People using really fast interconnects such 
a myranet will undoubtdly be interested in the 133mhz pci-x slots but 
they're currently a little pricey for use as nodes. what with u160 scsi 
and all the value added extras adding up to around $750 per board...
