hamachi.c : is it OK for Linux 2.2.10+ ?

"  The driver for the Packet Engines "Hamachi" GNIC-II adapter is
   available from the Hamachi web page. It is designed for kernel
   versions 2.0.* through 2.1.100+ on the x86 and Alpha architectures. "

Instead, from the web page "Gigabit Ethernet with Linux" at the URL
http://cesdis.gsfc.nasa.gov/linux/drivers/hamachi.html :

   through 2.2.0+ on all Linux architectures, although it is only tested
   with 2.0.* series kernels and the i386/x86 architecture.  "

Is the available hamachi.c driver compatible with Linux 2.2.10 and later?

Another question:
Are the two current versions of hamachi.c (the v0.11 by D. Becker, and the
v0.14 by D. Becker, E. Kasten et al., available from
http://www.nscl.msu.edu/~kasten/perf/hamachi/) expected to converge in
the near future?
