hamachi problem on Alpha

[Xiaozhou Qiu]

   I am trying to install Packet Engine G-NIC 2 on a Alpha
system. However, after I did "insmod" and brought up eth0, the following
message fills the screen and my system hangs in fact.

eth0: too much work at interrupt, status=3000
eth0: too much work at interrupt, status=3000
...

   Anyone has an idea of that? I am using an Alpha server 800, Redhat 6.0
and kernel 2.2.13.
