GNIC II

Below is the full dmesg output from boot up to the errors. I do not see
anything indicating a PCI error and I had the cards ping(ing) under Windows
'98 all night last night with no problems.

Thanks,

David.

Some early 400Mhz motherboards were reported to have various unusual errors.
A flash BIOS upgrade fixed the problem.

This is a generic "watchdog" failure.
The Tx status 00006081 indicates
Value Bits valid What it means
   0x6000 0xF000 Bus Error
0x0000 0x0F00	Tx unit is idle
0x0080 0x0080	PCI bus error (parity or system) occured during a
			PCI transaction
0x0001 0x0001	The Tx unit is still running

So it appears that you have a PCI bus error. There should have been an
prior log message indicating this. Was there?
