GNIC-II Question

I finally got a chance to try the Linux driver for the GNIC-II. Driver compiled and installed
fine. Auto negotiation with an Extreme Networks Summit 4 did not work, I just hard set
the switch. The interface shows fine and can ping itself but no other IP. Any suggestions
would be appreciated. Other info follows:
