[vortex] Mini PCI card question

Has anyone had a problem with the 3Com Mini PCI adapter disappearing from
the system?  Admittedly, it is probably my own fault.  I started writing a
Solaris driver for this card, could read the EEPROM and what not, and then
it stopped being recognized by the system.  The odd thing is, I hadn't
made any code changes since last it worked.  What's worse is that no OS
that I boot to will see the card now.

So my question is, did anyone have a similar problem during the
development of vortex support for this card?

Or am I just screwed?  :)
