Hi!

I hope this is the right list...

I have a lot of collisions on my small network. Everything is working, but
slow. I see there are no collisions reported on my 3c905, even though it is
(set to) running half duplex. Is there a problem setting FD/HD on 3c905B?

This is my setup:
HUB: 8TP + 1BNC
"ISDN router": 2.2.15, 3c503 on coax
"System1": 2.2.17, 3Com 3c900 Boomerang 10Mbps Combo, TP
"System2": 2.2.17pre20, 3Com 3c905B Cyclone 100baseTx, TP

This is what worries me (look at the collisions):

System1:
oyoy@lab:~$ /sbin/ifconfig
eth0      Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 00:A0:24:D7:20:E8
          inet addr:10.0.1.3  Bcast:10.255.255.255  Mask:255.0.0.0
          UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
          RX packets:3974565 errors:26822 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:50286
          TX packets:5311825 errors:2 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:207528
          collisions:212684 txqueuelen:100
          Interrupt:10 Base address:0x6100

System2:
bash-2.03$ /sbin/ifconfig
eth0      Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 00:50:04:63:95:A2
          inet addr:10.0.1.10  Bcast:10.255.255.255  Mask:255.0.0.0
          UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
          RX packets:22005515 errors:727824 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:1103272
          TX packets:15474808 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:100
          Interrupt:17 Base address:0xa000

Could it be my 3c905 is running FD?

Pleace excuse me if I'm on the wrong list,
and CC: me if I'm not...

Thanks!
