How do I force a 3c905 TX ethernet card to 10Mbps under
Linux?

I have a 3c905 TX ethernet card. I have a hub that supports
10Mbps and 100Mbps. By default my 3com card recognizes the
hub as a 100Mbps hub and sets itself up for 100Mbps.

I cannot use my 3com at 100Mbps (at the moment) for multiple
reasons. I'm trying VERY HARD to force my card to 10Mbps.

I have already tried:
modprobe 3c59x options=0

Which cases the module to report that the media type has
been forced to 10BaseT (I'm not sure what "media type"
means).

And finally, just to make sure you know how I know the card
is operating at 100Mbps: I use the lights on the back of
the card and/or my hub to determin the actual speed that the
card is operating at.
