Hi everybody,

It seems that the 'powered down state' of the adapter is nessecary to
enable Wake-on-lan. When i shutdown down my box after running Win98 it
enables a modus in the card so that i can send that magic packet and the
box wakes up. When i shutdown from Linux it doesn't do that :(

Does somebody have some info about howto put the nic is that state when
the module is unloaded?

BTW. my setup is:

ATX Box
Asus P2L97-S with a Pentium2-266
3C905B NIC
Dualboot Win98/Linux

Greetings,

Hugo
