[vortex-bug] Can't get RedHat 6.2 and 3C905C to perform well...

Hi everybody

When running RedHat 6.2 on my system, I get really bad and unstable
performance from my 3C905C NIC. I keep losing connection and ping roundtrips
are measured in minutes (right after a reboot, the first few ping are OK,
but after that the roundtrip time just get worse and worse). When running
RedHat 6.1 on exactly the same hardware, everything works fine. Does anyone
know what's wrong?

I'm new on this list, so I apologize for wasting everybody's bandwidth, if
this issue has already been covered.
