My realtek 8139 card (compiled in in 2.2.1) is recognized as a vortex.
And doesn't work then of course.

Compiling as a module and only loading rtl8139 works and is a workaround,
but I would like to have a boot-floppy with autodetection.

Is this a bug in the rtl8139 driver, in the vortex driver or somewhere else?

Nils

Plug-and-Play is really nice, unfortunately it only works 50% of the time.
To be specific the "Plug" almost always works. --unknown source
