[tulip] Strange issue upon boot up with tulip driver

I had a similar problem with a Realtek based PCMCIA card on SuSE 9.0 and 
I found it was that the driver module wasn't being loaded properly on 
boot.  I think there's an issue with the was YaST sets up NIC modules 
for boot in SuSE 9.0.
