Hello all.

I'm attempting to install RedHat 7.3 on an old Acer Extensa 367 T laptop.
I've recently found a doc on how to get pcmcia to work for my ethernet card.
The first step is to do an installation without CardBus support, and then
recompile the kernel with the standalone pcmcia-cs configuration.

How do I do an intsallation without CardBus support? I have tried
installing and not including the kernel-pcmcia-cs package in the "select
individual packages" section of the installation, but I still see the
package has been installed, pcmcia service has started in the log files, and
so has cardmgr. Do I have to recompile a kernel to get a kernel without
pcmcia support?

Thanks, Trevor.
