I have compiled tulip.c with :
gcc -DMODULES -D__KERNEL__ -O6 -c tulip.c
and I obtains the error messages :
tulip.c: 179: parse error before string constant
tulip.c: 179: warning: data definition has no type or storage class
no tulip.o is produced.
