Hi,

Is it possible to disable autonegotiate, forcing this NIC to operate on 100 mbit full-duplex regardless what the link partner negotiates?
Doesn't matter if it's in the eeprom or by using the tulip driver really, as long as it works! :-)
I've experienced problems with the link partner (Cisco Catalyst) during periods of extreme traffic load, and the link capability change for some reason. The card is pretty much useless to me in it's present state:

Mar 26 18:31:14 nix kernel: tulip0: EEPROM default media type Autosense.
Mar 26 18:31:14 nix kernel: tulip0: Index #0 - Media MII (#11) described by a 21142 MII PHY (3) block.
Mar 26 18:31:14 nix kernel: tulip0: MII transceiver #1 config 3100 status 7869 advertising 01e1.
Mar 26 18:31:14 nix kernel: eth0: Digital DS21143 Tulip rev 65 at 0xd000, 00:80:C8:CD:21:4D, IRQ 5.
Mar 26 18:31:15 nix kernel: eth0: Setting full-duplex based on MII#1 link partner capability of 41e1.

The DLINK card is a quad-port NIC with DEC chips, with one eeprom for each port.
Seems to me like the only media types you can force are 10baseX-based, is this correct?
Thanks in advance for your time and help.
