Hmmm, that has known flaws.

This is broken -- the driver is advertising that the hardware can't do
anything.  The driver won't communicate, but this will not freeze the
machine.

What is the parse error?  Are you using recent source and following the

OK, all on IRQ11.  This should be correct.
