Hi: I'm running Mandrake 7.2 (kernel 2.2.17-21) on an HP Pavilion =
n5190. I followed instructions at:

http://www.lanset.com/pilotodd/Linux_on_HP_N5190_Notebook.html#ethernet_c=
ard

on how to get the tulip driver working with the built-in Accton EN2242 =
(AMDtek Comet AN983). However, after compiling tulip.o and pci-scan.o =
and moving them into the modules net directory, I get "Device or =
resource busy" when running "modprobe tulip". I've been able to run =
tulip-diag successfully when specifying the memory address with -p =
(wouldn't detect without it), and I get some nice information about the =
card (I can send it if it will help).

Any ideas about where I should start, or what extra information I could =
provide to get help?

Thanks,

jpt
