[tulip] Linksys 10/100 Card

I just d/led the package driver file this evening and loaded it. I used the
dmesg command and got what looks like a copy of a bootup seq but I don't see
anything that refers to the NIC or any associated drivers. The information
covers CPU, hard and floppy drives, CD etc.

Are you actually running the updated driver?
You can check by reading the log with 'dmesg'.  The driver puts the version
number into the log even if it doesn't find a supported card.
