Hello,

My company uses a version of embedded Linux by Lineo in a MIPs based =
product. We have a ST Microelectronics Ethernet chip onboard. The chip =
reports it is running at 100Mb (and the hub agrees); however, we are =
getting a very slow data rate ~12Mb. I suspect we are having a problem =
with a timer interrupt, the HZ variable or jiffies. Does the tulip =
driver depend on some sort of timer interrupt or when send packets or is =
the timer only used for tx timeouts?

Thanks in advance,
Winefred Washington
