[tulip] Getting pci-scan.c to compile

I feel a bit silly for asking this but I cannot get pci-scan.c to compile 
and load.  I keep getting a modversions.h not found.  If I move modversions 
to the path in the code then gcc stopps seeing all the modules pointed to in 
modversions no matter where I move them around.  I am running the newest 
debian distribution and I have the 2.2.17 kernel.  I want to get my Linksys 
10/100TX working but have, so far, had no luck.  Thanks for the time.
