[tulip] Compile problems

Hi there

Trying to upgrade tulip driver from 0.91g to 0.92 but I notice that things are
no longer as simple as once was ;-( I've copied the additional files
kern_compat.h, pci-scan.c and pci-scan.h to linux/drivers/net and I've modified
the Makefile as indicated in updates.html. All this done, the compile succeeds
but the link fails with:

drivers/net/net.a(tulip.o): In function `tulip_probe1':
tulip.o(.text+0x47): undefined reference to `pci_write_config_dword_Rf0fbd200'
tulip.o(.text+0x72): undefined reference to `printk_R1b7d4074'
etc
etc

Any ideas? I must have the driver linked into the kernel because I'm using
diskless workstations, so previous posts relating to building as a module are
not much use to me ;-(

TIA
