problems e with DECchip 21143 boards and 2.2.x kernel/driver

Hi,

I ´ve some DECchip 21143 boards (ALLNET WebLink 10/100 Combo) which only
run with
kernels upto 2.0.33 and 2.1.131 ( the last 2.1 kernel I tried ).
But with the new 2.2.x kernels or 2.0.36 the board is detected but doesn´t
send/receive anything.
I checked out the following without any results:
- change/upgrade/downgrade tulip.c
- check the routing information
- use an old 21041 board ( works fine )
- manually switch the link settings

Maybe there is something else I can do to get it running.
