[tulip-bug] SMC1255TX/LP Problem - TX errors and Carrier errors X2

Yes, the tulip.c:v0.95 6/21/2002 driver I am using now is from the
www.scyld.com site.

It is basically using the Accton EN1217/EN2242 (ADMtek Comet) chip
code to run this card that has an EN5251 on it. Both the old driver
and the new one give the TX and Carrier errors in ifconfig. However,
both seem to operate.
