At 17:51 Uhr -0500 02.03.2000, Darin Fisher is rumored to have typed:

Hi Darin,

I've been talking about this with David Hinds who's the maintainer
for the PCMCIA core modules and socket drivers besides some others.

Here are his two most informative and recent statements:

> > Feb 26 16:29:31 training2 kernel: unknown PCI interrupt router 1106:0686
>
>I don't know how to enable PCI interrupts for the CardBus bridge,
>because they are (apparently) disabled in the host bridge, and I don't
>have any info about this host bridge.

after that he received some more detailled system information from me and said

>  I know pretty much exactly what the problem is;
>it just isn't an easy thing to fix. I need to think about how to do
>it.

Should you've run into the same error "unknown PCI interrupt router"
there's hope that Darin will be able to fix it - we just don't know
when...

However, the problem only affects the PCI to CardBus bridge and
therefore you'll be able to get no 32 bit cardbus card to work while
the 16bit PCMCIA cards work pretty well as expected.

I know this is not of much help right now, but we can't do anything
but waiting at this point - or purchase other notebooks :-((
