[tulip-bug] DC21143 ip autoconfig not working

Greetings,

I've recently run into a problem with configuring a machine's
IP information on the kernel command line. With the same kernel, the
card functions properly after the machine boots and uses a standard
'ifconfig' line to set up the device. If I give all of the machine's ip
information on the kernel command line via an 'nfsaddrs' option, the
system boots and reports correct 'IP Config' information, but is never
actually pingable. The same kernel/configuration works if I put a
different ethernet board in the machine. Has anyone run into a similar
problem or essentially tried to do a netboot with a DC21143 based board?

Thanks
