We do have those BIOS features, but there is nothing
related to network cards. The behaviour appears to be
solely network relevant and has nothing to do with
temperatures or fan speeds. If we change the network
card to a different manufacturer, we never hear a
sound. Simply, we MUST use the FASTline cards and they
are really good for all our purposes. Just that beeeeeep
thing gets on our nerves ...
