Trouble with DS21143 rev 65 (Sony Vaio Network Dock)

Hello,

If anyone can help...

I'm attempting to run linux (2.2.3) on a Sony Vaio PCG-808 w/ network
docking station.  The docking station has a DS21143 chip (rev 65).  I've
downloaded and installed the lastest tulip.c and can't seem to connect
to the network. I can ping the interface, but no other addresses.  route
add commands fail (unable to connect to network). I've tried forcing the
transceiver choice to 10baseT (#0), to no avail. The machine has a
single RJ45 connector which is alleged by Windows to be 10/100.
According to the Sony specifications, it only supports 10baseT.

Attached is the output from tulip-diag, along with the list of PCI
devices & tulip syslog output.

Note: tulip-diag was run while the interface was up.

Any ideas?
