Hi, I hope this topic is appropriate for this list..
If not I apologize in advance.

hardware & drivers

new UMAX Actionbook 333t laptop.

problem
~~~~~~~
Linksys works perfectly under win98 on 10baseT and 100baseT networks, but...
Under Linux, link light rarely ever comes on. I've seen it
work once or twice on 100baseT and once on 10baseT. When
it works, it works fine.
The following logfile output is from when I hard-coded the options
parameter to 12 (10baseT). This made it work right away - once,
but I could not repeat it.
I always get "two good beeps", and the network comes up configured
correctly but doesn't work.
