Best architecture ?

Hello !
I wonder what is the best architecture for a small beowulf (let say 16 nodes) :
- an hypercube with a lot of 100Mb ethernet cards
- a simple network with 100Mb ethernet cards connected to a 100Mb switch
  (no hub !)
