Yes.
While we do modify the kernel, there is nothing specific to Scyld in the
build procedure.

We do build a half dozen different kernels for the distribution.  Those
kernels are optimized for various combinations of processor
architectures and uni/SMP.

Most kernels are fully modular: they have infrastructure framework
support for everything, but all specific support is build as modules.
The beoboot kernel is the simplest.  It eliminates all features not
necessary for network booting or logging errors to video/serial.
