Hi Jeff,

As per your advice, I've tried:

[root@digital modules]# gcc -DMODULE -D__KERNEL__ -DEXPORT_SYMTAB -Wall
-Wstrict-prototypes -O6 -c pci-scan.c

[root@digital modules]# gcc -DMODULE -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -O6 -c
rtl8139.c

[root@digital modules]# cp pci-scan.o rtl8139.o /lib/modules/2.2.14-5.0/net/

[root@digital modules]# depmod -a
[root@digital modules]# modprobe rtl8139
/lib/modules/2.2.14-5.0/net/rtl8139.o: invalid parameter parm_irq
/lib/modules/2.2.14-5.0/net/rtl8139.o: insmod
/lib/modules/2.2.14-5.0/net/rtl8139.o failed
/lib/modules/2.2.14-5.0/net/rtl8139.o: insmod rtl8139 failed

I've grep'd rtl8139.c and related files, but there is no mention of
parm_irq. Would you have any further insights?

Many thanks,

Li
