[netdrivers] help required

i have IBM thinkpad R51.I have linux OS on it nd want to install driver for 
eepro100 network card.
your website document -http://www.scyld.com/eepro100.html- says that we must 
download pci-scan.c, pci-scan.h, and kern_compat.h also along with driver.c 
file.
how must we got about installing th driver once we download all the above 
files.
where must we save pci-scan.c, pci-scan.h, and kern_compat.h and do we need 
to compile them?
kindly help me out as i want o start running my laptop
