[netdrivers] Adaptec 6922

I just cannot make this card work. I have spent the better part of my day on it.
This is a 2 port 10/100 Adaptec ANA-6922A card.
 
As I understand, this card is supposed to work with the Starfire driver.
However, the card is NOT being detected.
 
This is my lspci output:

And this is what happens when I modprobe starfire:

I did download and compile the newest netdrivers, but still...no cigar.
 
Anybody else out there has gotten this card to work?
