Both NC3133 and 3135 are indeed PCI2.2 universal card. they need a base 
adaptor for upgrade. expensive too...

PCI2.2 universal card can work in PCI2.1 slots. However PCI2.1 card can not 
be used in PCI2.2 slots. First the slot is different, second the voltage is 
differenlt(5v vs. 3.3v)
