[eepro100] Setting the eepro100 boot timeout to zero

I know this!
The bit in the eeprom is documented in this document...
	http://developer.intel.com/design/network/applnots/74894501.pdf
in section 2.2.2

The bit is called 'BD' (for boot disable)

But there might be an easier way. If the EEPROM/Flash ROM is
in a socket, perhaps you could just remove it from the board.
Maybe sticky tape it to the back of the board so you don't loose
it.

Subject: [eepro100] Setting the eepro100 boot timeout to zero

Hi,

during system boot, the eepro100 card will present a prompt on the console
to allow the user to enter a configuration screen. This timeout can be set to
some predefined values, 2, 5 and 8 seconds, if I remember correctly. If you
have a router box with a number of cards, this phase of system startup can
take relativly long time.

Does anyone know how to set this timeout to zero seconds, perhaps by writing
to the eeprom using eepro100-diag?

Thanks,

Geir.
