okay, i checked my log but i don't see any messages from the card, i.e. no ``Card reports no buffers'' nor ``Card reports no resources''. how do i do switch the card to PIO mode? I will try that anyway. Also, I am going to try the 2.4 kernels. thanks d -- Douglas S. J. De Couto decouto@lcs.mit.edu
