I'm going to attemtp to use Donald's latest driver 1.09t. I donwloaded =
it and executed the compile command at the bottom of the .c file. The =
eepro100.o file is 21k in size. I then copy the same source into =
/usr/src/linux and run a make modules then a make modules_install. The =
resulting driver is 20k in size. Should I be concered with this =
difference? Is the way the make modules command compiles the driver =
different than the included compile command?=20

I plan to reboot the machine but I want to make sure I've done this =
correctly. I do not have great access to the console so any changes to =
networking carries a big risk for me. Screw it up and I'm going for a =
long drive to fix it.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Scott
